Whether early entry options are available depends on the event in question. You can find information on this from the ticket providers for the relevant events.  

It is not usually possible to re-enter the premises once you have left.

Under the Youth Protection Act, children and young people under the age of 16 may only attend events that finish after 10 pm if accompanied by an adult supervisor. The rules may vary for individual events. You can find more detailed information on the event page and from the respective organisers.

The OPEN AIR PARK Düsseldorf is situated in car park P1 at the exhibition centre in Düsseldorf.

We recommend travelling by public transport. You can find all the information you need about getting here, parking and traffic management on our Event Mobility platform.

The main route is the U78 to ‘MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA / Messe Nord’ 

From there, the venue is within walking distance. Alternatively, you can choose one of our coach routes from various regions. You can find these on our Event Mobility platform.

The frequency of the U78 service will be increased as visitors leave. The shuttle buses and trams will continue to run until all visitors have left.

That depends on the ticket provider:

• For Ticketmaster tickets, use of public transport is included with the booking confirmation. 
• For Eventim tickets, the free public transport ticket must be activated or booked separately. You will receive information on this by email before the event. 

Yes, there are a limited number of parking spaces available. Parking is only permitted with a pre-booked parking ticket, which can be booked via our Event Mobility platform.
Parking in the surrounding residential areas is prohibited to protect local residents.

A parking ticket currently costs 15 euros and must be booked in advance via our Event Mobility platform.

No, camping and overnight stays in motorhomes on the site are not permitted.

The time it takes to get in depends on visitor numbers and your arrival time. There may be queues, particularly shortly before the event begins. We strongly recommend that you arrive in good time.

Yes, depending on the event, there are separate entrances, for example for VIP guests or accessible access points. You can find details on the relevant event page under ‘Seating plan’.

You can find out which items are not permitted on the premises in our house rules. Please familiarise yourself with the applicable regulations before your visit.

There are currently no lockers or cloakrooms available.

The sound system is tailored to each individual event to ensure optimum sound quality in all visitor areas.

Events will generally go ahead even if it rains. Comprehensive safety and bad-weather plans are in place to cater for different weather conditions. Should there be any changes or interruptions, we will keep you informed both on site and via digital channels.

Yes, medical services are on site during the events. In an emergency, please contact the security staff or go to the signposted first-aid stations.

In the event of an emergency, information is provided via public address announcements, video screens, signage and digital information channels.

Yes. There are Awareness points of contact and trained security staff on site. ‘Luisa is here’ is an additional support service for guests who feel uncomfortable, harassed or unsafe. If you ask our staff about Luisa, you will receive discreet support.

The OPEN AIR PARK is generally designed to be barrier-free and is fully accessible. Depending on the event, special wheelchair areas are set up.

The rules for accompanying persons are subject to the ticketing terms and conditions of the relevant event. Please check with the organiser directly.

Look forward to a wide variety of food and drink – from classic festival fare to international specialities. Among other things, you can look forward to falafel, döner kebab, Asian street food, grilled paninis, dürüm, pizza, barbecue specialities, burritos, loaded fries, handbrot, crêpes and frozen yoghurt. There will also be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Yes. Lost property can be handed in at the ticket office in the entrance area during the event. After the event, you can contact us at info(at)openairpark-dus.de.

Please feel free to approach the security staff or the Awareness Teams at any time, either on site or at the ticket booth in the entrance area. Awareness contact persons and trained security staff are also available on site. ‘Luisa is here’ is an additional support service for guests who feel uncomfortable, harassed or unsafe. If you ask our staff about Luisa, you will receive discreet support.

Yes. We provide the latest updates on the event, travel arrangements and departure via our official WhatsApp information channels.

Departure is managed via a controlled visitor guidance system with colour-coded and signposted routes to all key transfer points. These include, amongst others, the various car parks, the underground station at the arena, cycle parking facilities, and Kiss & Ride and taxi ranks. Please follow the signage and the instructions of the security staff on site.

After the event, many people will be leaving the venue at the same time. Please therefore be prepared for a longer wait when leaving.
