With three successful concerts, the OPEN AIR PARK DÜSSELDORF has established itself as a new location for large open-air events in North Rhine-Westphalia. With a fully urbanized event area and top-notch infrastructure, the OPEN AIR PARK is setting new standards. The biggest artists of today finally have the option to perform in NRW, in addition to Berlin and Munich. With the largest catchment area in Europe, Düsseldorf is now on par with international hotspots like London, Madrid, or Paris.
Kicking things off, System Of A Down performed on Friday, July 10, in front of around 80,000 visitors. On July 18, OneRepublic followed with their concert, and the next day Pitbull took the stage. In total, nearly 150,000 people experienced their stars live at OPEN AIR PARK Düsseldorf.
The first three concerts have shown: The OPEN AIR PARK Düsseldorf is a solid fixture for international live events and permanently expands the city’s offerings for concerts and large-scale events.
With that, the OPEN AIR PARK DÜSSELDORF has successfully kicked off its first season. The experiences from the first events are being used to further develop the venue, and we're already looking forward to the program in 2027.
